Gold Star

Arrrrooooooooooooo

Just a quick update. Just to let you know that I did it, I did! Mum put me through the Kennel Club's Good Citizen Silver and Gold test and I passed both. I was a very good boy, although rather tired by the time I took my Gold. I shouldn't really have taken both tests on the same evening, but I missed out on the silver last time around, because I had that nasty coughing virus and was unable to mix with the other dogs. Mum is so pleased with the progress of my training, and I do enjoy it. This doesn't mean to say that my training ends here. Far from it. Mum is continuing to practice on a daily basis, and is even teaching me new things.

The other piece of news is that yesterday was my 6 month birthday.

I am growing up now and am almost as tall as Lotte, but not quite. I have a bit to go yet before I am as tall as Tallulah, but I am catching up fast. Everyone says that I look like a foal, because my legs are very gangly.

It was also Nalle dog's proper birthday yesterday. He is 11, and this is amazing considering mum (and many others) didn't think he would make it to his first birthday. Thanks to a lady by the name of Dr. Jean Dodds, across a big pond, Nalle's under active thyroid problem was discovered, and once he was put on the correct medication, he just blossomed.

Nalle's birthday dinner arrived. Lotte and I thought we should have some too.

Nalle wasn't impressed and told us to go away - to put it politely.

Happy 11th birthday Nalle. Love, Barkley, Lotte, Tallulah and Mumxxxx
