Andrex and Chews

Arrroooo A-row

Sorry I haven't updated of late, but there has not been a lot going on recently to report on. My agility training is still coming along well. I am finding these dark evenings rather frustrating. What goes on? I suppose this is the way it is from now on then? cold dark nights? I am 11 1/2 months old now, and it will soon be my first birthday. Mum says that she is going to invite some of my friends to my party. My party will be in the middle of the Christmas holidays, so I am hoping my friends will be around, and up to having a ball, or a bone or two.

Since my eye operation, I have been discovering new things.

Like this:
and this:

It is soooooooo funny. I can pull it all over the house. I can even pick it off the holder and take it to mum in the morning and wake her up with it. "Arooooo roooooo rooooo look what I've got". I can chew it up into a 1000 tiny pieces and then watch mum trying to pick it all up again. I thought my name was Barkley, but it appears I have some other names too!

Mum was very cross with me a few days ago. I know she was cross, because I heard her telling people about the mobile phone. Not only that, but she showed it to the people attending the puppy class, and what was left of the battery charger. You see I pulled the end of that off, as I thought it needed a little re-arranging. Also the phone had TALLULAH'S picture on the screen - not mine. So I had to deal with that too.

Mum told the people attending the class, not to assume that she was immune from puppy troubles, because she is not. I am a young and growing young dog, and chew I will. I don't chew as much as I did when I was younger, but when I do, I really go to town. Mum told people that there will be periods of chewing over the next year or so as I continue to grow, and my adult teeth continue to develop into my jaws. I also heard mum explain to the class that it was pointless showing me the phone and charger and then telling me off, because I wouldn't have understood what she was going on about, which is true. Once I had finished sorting things out, and moved onto doing something else, I am unable to connect back to what had happened earlier. Mum usually provides me with lots of nice things to chew on, but I really thought that phone needed dealing with..... Tally's picture indeed! Whatever next.

I thought you might like to see a video of me wearing my new coat? Tally Tallulah is envious of it and decided to chase me!
