Lovely New Grub

Arooo roooo roooo!!!!

Spring is here. Oh how lovely bouncy bouncy leapie up and downie, spin round and around. I am feeling really good. In my last blog I wasn't feeling very well at all. In fact I was really sick. Mum offered me food. "No" I snorted "give it to Daisy, she wants to eat everything and turn herself into Fatima Round Dog. I don't! Not me!!!

Mum offered me beef.... nope
Mum offered me tripe.... nope
Mum offered me lamb ...... forget it.
She offered me dreaded dried food - who was she kidding? Nope! Well and truly Nope!

I then met up with Storm the Working Sheepdog, who smelt mmmmmm very spring like. Ooooh I then re-discovered what life is all about and felt the springs returning to my feet. Mum looked at me and said "if you don't eat your dinner, you cannot dance and play around with Storm. If you are not fit enough to eat, then you are not fit enough for anything else........ so I eat. I eat and eat and eat. In fact I am eating mum out of house and home so that I can be super fit to meet Storm again.

I can't play with her at the moment though mum says, because she has been to the vet and had an operation which is called spey, whatever that means? I can see her next week though, and we play!!!! Whoppeeeeeee.

Now when it comes to food. Mum found this new food which is absolutely scrumptious. Not only have I regained my appetite, but I have also put on some weight and my coat is really good once more. Mum made a fuss of me earlier and said "your hair is so silky and gorgeous that I wish it was mine". I wagged my tail, because I am really happy with my coat now, and that lovely food. It comes in frozen packs, and mum defrosts it and serves it to us. It is called Natural Instinct. I feel so much better since mum has been getting it for us, and as for Tallulah, well she is trying to imitate me:

Her coat is much better, and what's more, she had been developing funny tummies too, but she is fine now and won't be visiting the vets herself, which she is very pleased about, because she HATES vets..... yes, ALL vets!!!! Grrrrrrr.

The new food place also sells something called "lamb spines". Well, all three of us gorged ourselves on lamb spines last week, and all three of us got mummy up in the middle of the night to let us out. She says next time we have those, we are NOT allowed to eat them all in one go!!!

Dottie, who is now called "Daisy" because she thinks she is very pretty, is still suffering from the delusion that I actually love her. She keeps posting pictures of the two of us on her blog, but the pictures lie. You see here, on my blog, I am not even looking at her. Pretty? Huh. She is the wrong colour for one thing. Not my type.... see!!!! I am getting married to Grace Setter in July, and then we are going to set up home together in Somersetter, or maybe even Dorsetter. We'll see, but Daisy wont be included in the new set up!

The agility season is now in full swing, and last weekend I went to the Spring at Shuttlewoof show. I did mixed things there. Either I was very naughty and had my mind on other things.... ie the lovely ladies outside of the ring, or I was very good and mum was pleased with me. As per usual Tallulah was very good and did some nice clear rounds.

This was me though, with my mind on things outside of the ring, rather than inside:

I can be good at times though. Honestly, but I when I know they are pointing the video camera at me, I become very shy, and that's when I remember the girls.... outside the ring.... and of course, meeting up with Storm again next week. Oh I do hope her operation went well to cure her of whatever it was she needed curing of.
