Today is such a beautiful day. Spring has sprung, and usually at this time of year, I would really be getting off on the natural rise in testosterone in the environment (which is what causes the Blackbirds to start singing their special song) and considering how I have been of late, I would be driving mummee to total despair. However, I have had such a wonderful day. Running around, playing with the girls, meeting other dogs. Mummee said if I was like this all the time, I would be an absolute joy to live with. So it would appear that the Suprelorin is now starting to take effect.
Today, I only had to cock my leg when I needed a pee. And I only bent over to do my poops, instead of that awful straining I have been doing in recent months. The girls really enjoyed running and playing with me, so we all had such a great time.
Mummee noticed that today was the first time I didn't start pacing, instead of running, hunting and playing. It was like I had come back to life, instead of being a conscious hormone hahaha.
Daisy. Look what I have got in my mouth....
....and you can't have it. Hahaha.
hahaha and you still can't have it
Most of the other dogs we saw today were in the distance, but not even that bothered me. I didn't stop to stare, or go towards any of them. I was more interested in running. and playing with the ball in my mouth......
I felt so good. So happy, and so calm. Here are some of the doggies we did meet up close. Not as many as we would usually see, which was most surprising considering it is such a lovely sunny springlike day.
and here is one of Daisy's best mates:
and here is Daisy wondering when she is going to get her turn with the ball
But she is unlucky, because here is who got it first.
So, is it possible that things are starting to settle down for me now, rather than the fluctuations I have been experiencing? or is this just a taste of what is yet to come? Tomorrow will be a whole week of my having the Suprelorin implant, so it's still early days at the moment according to the manufacturer. Tomorrow is another day.
Oh, before I forget. Here is someone else we met today:
Barkley
